We cannot decentralized many interesting systems without also decentralizing the identity systems upon which they rely. We’re finally in a position to create truly decentralized systems for digital identity.
Phil, you nailed it as usual. I think you’ve made a particularly strong case why we need self-sovereign identity, which has no choice but to be decentralized (or else it can’t be self-sovereign).
It has larger structural implications that I think many people realize.
